Found this car body in an arroyo at the bottom of a canyon while hiking this afternoon. Didn’t appear to have a frame or drivetrain. How it got here I have no clue. Looks 1940’s but the condition and construction seem much newer... maybe a replica? I’m not too familiar with this era of design - anyone recognize it?

I believe this to be a ~37 Ford, the body is quite warped.

My guess is 37 Ford coupe. Definitely mid to late 30's. Hard to tell the trunk area cause of the big ole dent.

There’s a couple of trails here with the same thing...I’m guessing the hik8ng trails may have been logging roads at some point, otherwise there’s no reason for a car to be there...

It could have been stolen and ditched, or ditched for insurance fraud.

I just saw this post, and my first thought was, “Paging Fintail. Fintail to the front, please.”
